The hospital has a League of Friends shop situated in the Minor Injuries Department, which is run by Community Trust volunteers. There is also a trolley which comes to the ward weekly. They sell things like: snacks, sweets, drinks, toiletries and newspapers as well as cards and some lovely very reasonably priced knitted baby clothes, socks and tea cosies.
The shop is open Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 12noon and 2pm to 4pm.
We are always looking for new volunteers to help run the shop. Please note that a DBS check and attendance on courses will be required.
